Domain F - Developing as a Professional
As we approach the start of the BCLAD program at Chico State, we have really only just begun what will be a continual process of developing as professional teachers that will span our entire careers. Just as all professions, teaching requires time, devotion, and a lot of practice to become an "expert" teacher, if there is such a thing. Also like other professions the teaching profession is one of constant changes. Students, content, standards, and other factors are always changing and these changes require teachers to be constantly learning in order to remain effective in the classroom. As professionals we will hone our skills by doing things like trying new techniques, reading liturature related to the field written by experts, working with other teachers in our own school to gain feedback and constructive criticism, and reflecting thoughtfully on our own teaching to see how we might improve. In this way we will be prepared to lead our students in their education and toward a bright future.

Work I've Done
I've included below my Belief Paper because it shows many of the aspects of my development as a professional so far. Nearly everything that I wrote about in the paper is something I learned this semester. Looking forward, this is just the tip of the iceburg. :)
