Domain C - Engaging and Supporting Student Learning

Domain C deals with knowing your students and taking into perspective the different aspects of their lives into consideration as you teach.  The cultural background, economic status, and family background are all factors that will make how we approach each student different.  A student of low economic status may need to have an assignment that requires resources from home adjusted so that they can complete it.  A student coming from a broken or unstable home may need additional emotional support.  Making these adjustments according to each student's specific experience will heighten their learning.
